Very nice... I remember instituting the same neck workaround on my Mata. Now, if the eye were painted, it'd be perfect :D

It works so well with the Mata body. I wish elbow and knee movement could be just as easy! I think I will paint the Akaku Nuva, it's a great mask :)

True that... the line really jumped forward in 2004. If I may make a suggestion, I've found that a flat color + gloss clearcoat right in the eye scope makes a world of difference. (Gloss paint is good too, but several layers of gloss clearcoat gets that really glassy look.)

Good thinking on that neck-fix.

Now if someone's ballsy enough to make a working waist for that torso... honestly that looks like a template for articulation.

Thanks! All the Mata needed was more articulation. I bet someone could make a crazy technic body, but I'm not skilled enough for that.

Are there Technic parts in Pick-A-Brick? That would make it much easier (if you bought them in store).
